According to Sun, the head coach of London’s Arsenal, Mikel Arteta, is open to letting Ukrainian defender Oleksandr Zinchenko leave his team before the end of the January transfer window, as the Italian “Inter” is preparing an offer.
The departure of the 28-year-old footballer is expected also because he is currently only third in his position at “Arsenal” — behind Jurrien Timber and Riccardo Calafiori. Additionally, 18-year-old Myles Lewis-Skelly has recently been getting more playing time than Zinchenko.
It is expected that if “Arsenal” manages to sell the Ukrainian, Theo Hernandez from “Milan” may come in as his replacement, whom Arteta is a big fan of.
