In 2025, our teams will face new important events. We present for your attention the preliminary calendar of official competitions involving Ukrainian clubs and national teams.
January 21. “Dynamo” will meet the local “Galatasaray” in Istanbul in the main round match of the 2024/2025 Europa League.
January 22. “Shakhtar” will host the French “Brest” in Gelsenkirchen as part of the 2024/2025 Champions League.
January 29. “Shakhtar” will face the local “Borussia” in Dortmund in their last match of the main stage of the 2024/2025 Champions League.
January 30. “Dynamo” will host the Latvian RFS at home in the final round of the 2024/2025 Europa League main stage.
February 11-12. Kyiv’s “Dynamo U-19” will play at home against the Italian “Atalanta U-19” in the UEFA Youth League Round of 16.
February 11-12. Donetsk’s “Shakhtar U-19” will face German “Hoffenheim U-19” away in the UEFA Youth League Round of 16.
February 21-24. The season will resume in the Ukrainian Premier League with the matches of the 18th round.
March 19-25. The Ukrainian U-17 youth team will participate in the second qualification round for Euro-2025, in a group with Croatia, Italy, and Slovakia.
March 20. The Ukrainian national team will play their first match in the Nations League playoffs to qualify for League A against Belgium.
March 23. The Ukrainian national team will play the second match in the Nations League playoffs to qualify for League A against Belgium.
April 2. The quarterfinals of the Ukrainian Cup 2024/2025 will take place.
April 23. The semifinals of the Ukrainian Cup 2024/2025 will take place.
May 14. The final match of the Ukrainian Cup 2024/2025 will take place.
May 23-26. The season in the Ukrainian Premier League will conclude with the matches of the 30th round.
June. The national team of Ukraine will play two friendly matches as part of the preparation for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
June 12. The Ukrainian U-21 national team will start the final tournament of Euro-2025 U-21 with a match in Prešov against their peers from Denmark.
June 15. The Ukrainian U-21 national team will play their second match of the final tournament of Euro-2025 U-21 in Košice against Finland.
June 18. The Ukrainian U-21 national team will play their third match of the final tournament of Euro-2025 U-21 in Prešov against the Netherlands.
September 5. The national team of Ukraine will play their first match in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against the winner of the France/Croatia pairing.
September 9. The national team of Ukraine will play their second match in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers away against Azerbaijan.
September 27—October 19. The U-20 World Cup 2025 will take place with the participation of the Ukrainian youth team.
October 1-7. The Ukrainian U-17 youth team will face Montenegro, Estonia, and Italy in the first round of qualification for Euro-2026.
October 10. The national team of Ukraine will play their third match of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers away against Iceland.
October 13. The national team of Ukraine will host Azerbaijan in a nominally home match of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
November 12-18. The Ukrainian U-19 youth team will play in the qualification round of Euro-2026 against Albania, Montenegro, and Slovakia.
November 13. The national team of Ukraine will play an away match in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against the winner of the France/Croatia pairing.
November 16. The national team of Ukraine will meet Iceland in a nominally home match of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
