Conte: «I tried to convince Khvicha to stay, but he decided to leave Napoli

Napoli head coach Antonio Conte stated that winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is planning to leave the club in the January transfer window.

«I had a conversation with Khvicha, he confirmed his plan to leave the club immediately. I tried to convince Kvaratskhelia to stay, but he decided to go and open a new chapter in his career. The club and his agent will now find a solution... I cannot keep Kvarch when he does not want to stay,» Conte quotes Fabrizio Romano on Twitter.
