Today, Cherkasy LNZ embarks on a long journey with the aim of preparing for the spring part of the 2024/2025 season.
Roman Hryhorchuk’s team, which is in the elite for the second year, will travel by bus from Cherkasy to neighboring Poland, where tomorrow afternoon it will await an air trip to southern Spain. On the Mediterranean coast, the Ukrainian team will conduct a training camp for a month.
It will be divided into two stages, with a several-day pause between them. The Cherkasy team plans to hold a series of friendly matches — notably against opponents who will also be in Spain for their camps. There will be at least eight sparring matches. In them, the LNZ coaching staff will test potential newcomers who will arrive for a trial. According to unofficial information, the arrival of three foreigners and four to five candidates holding Ukrainian passports is expected.
