Ukrainian goalkeeper Ilarion Tugay, who is a graduate of Kyiv Dynamo, has signed a contract with Bulgarian Litex, reports Football24.bg.
The 21-year-old goalkeeper, whose distinguishing feature is his tall stature—193 cm (Bulgarian media have already dubbed him the "Ukrainian giant"), was on trial at Litex, and ultimately, his candidacy was approved by the coaching staff of this team.
Tugay played for Dynamo's youth team until 2022, after which he left the Ukrainian club. Before moving to Litex, the goalkeeper played for the team in the third Croatian division, Zmaj Makarska.
As for Litex, this team is currently competing in the second Bulgarian division, and after the 21st round, it occupies 16th place in the league table (there are a total of 20 teams in the tournament).
