Alexander Pikhalyonok: "In the match against Galatasaray, we need to show that Dynamo is still alive"

The midfielder of Kyiv’s Dynamo, Alexander Pikhalyonok, explained his team’s failure in the Europa League this season, as well as spoke about the mood for the upcoming match in this tournament against the Turkish "Galatasaray", which will take place on January 21 in Istanbul.

“We played very well in the Champions League qualifying, but in the Europa League we just haven’t found our game. Of course, we can talk about travels and everything else, but the fact is that we fell into some kind of routine from which we couldn’t break free.

Now there will be a match with "Galatasaray", and we need to show, as our club president said, that "Dynamo" is still alive.

Galatasaray will have a certain advantage since they are currently playing in their league. After all, official matches and friendly matches are different things. But I think we have very good physical training and we will prepare very well for the upcoming match and will strive to achieve a positive result in it,” said Pikhalyonok on the YouTube channel "VDINAMO".
