The Dutch giant was initially aimed at acquiring Raul Moro from Spanish Valladolid, but last Saturday this 22-year-old winger broke his collarbone, putting an end to his transfer this winter.

Now Ajax is urgently looking for other options to strengthen the flanks of its midfield, and data from SciSports shows that the Amsterdam club may choose Voloshin, the source writes.

“Ajax’s technical director Alex Cruz, the club’s sports director Marijn Beuker, and the team’s head coach Francesco Farioli have joined forces, and in the coming days, the main focus will be on a new winter transfer target: a fast, deep winger who can play on both the left and right flanks,” writes journalist Mike Verwey.

According to the Career Advice Tool, Voloshin fits perfectly into the playing style that Farioli advocates at Ajax, and also has sufficient prospects for gaining playing time.
