Former FIFA referee Myroslav Stupar shared his impressions of the officiating during the Europa League match between "Galatasaray" and "Dynamo" by an Estonian refereeing team:

«It cannot be said that referee Kristo Tohver was biased towards any of the teams. His functional preparation left a good impression, which helped him be present at the center of events. However, at times, it seemed that the referee had poor eyesight, as he simply did not notice violations. It is one thing to allow play within the rules, and quite another to overlook blatant fouls.
As for the episode involving the cancellation of the second yellow card for the home player and the awarding of a penalty in the same play, the decisive word lay with the VAR system. However, the penalty was dubious, and it’s good that justice ultimately prevailed. Andrii Yarmolenko reminded everyone of himself, scoring a ‘double’ and saving Kyiv from defeat. This is the first point secured by Dynamo in the Europa League, although "Galatasaray" could have comfortably closed the game in the first half. But they forgave Kyiv's defenders for another miss, and at the end of the match, instead of playing for the result, they were punished for underestimating their opponent,» — Stupar said.
