Former FIFA referee Miroslav Stupar commented again on the refereeing of the Europa League match “Galatasaray” — “Dynamo” (3:3).

— If we take the moments regarding goals, there are no claims against the referee. But why the main referee did not see the penalty the first time is a question for the referee... It’s good that VAR corrected his decision. He had to cancel the second yellow card for the player of “Galatasaray” and award a penalty. Yes, Tymchik held onto the opponent with both hands, who slightly embellished the fall, but in the end, it was all fair.
However, there are serious claims against the referee regarding the management and control of the game. In the first half, there were missed fouls, kicks to the legs, and for some reason, he did not see them. The same thing repeated in the second half. At the end of the game, our player was clearly hit on the legs, then immediately the home player was hit again — and silence from the referee’s side. Yes, the Estonian referee is physically well-prepared, imposing, but the understanding of duels is at a low level, — said Stupar.
