The head coach of Donetsk "Shakhtar" Marino Puzhich commented on his team's victory over the French "Brest" (2:0) in yesterday's match of the 7th round of the main stage of the Champions League.
"I think we played a very mature game in all aspects. I believe that in the first half we acted fantastically with the ball and without it. I can only complain that we scored only two goals; in my opinion, we deserved to score three or four. But that's football.
I think in the second half we completely controlled the game, did not allow the opponent to create chances, maybe just one shot from distance. And I also believe that in the second half we were the more dangerous team, created good opportunities to score a third goal. Overall, I must note that it was a fantastic performance from our side. I must praise all my players, as they were incredibly disciplined, worked hard together. And what I really liked the most was that we played wonderful football," said Puzhich.
