The head of the media center of Lviv "Rukh", Bohdan Tymovchak, explained why the team went to Slovenia instead of Turkey, like most teams in the Ukrainian championship.
Bohdan Tymovchak (photo: fcruhlviv.com)— We have been going there for the third or fourth year in a row. Firstly, it is more convenient to get there and cheaper, as there are no need for air flights. Secondly, the climate in Slovenia is practically the same as ours, so acclimatization is not needed. Plus, there are good fields and infrastructure. And most importantly — sparring partners. We will play seven friendlies there, including with the Champions League participant Austrian "Sturm". There will also be the Austrian GAK and several Slovenian clubs," said Tymovchak.
