— Mircea Lucescu will be operated on Monday morning. I have no fear. I know who is operating on him, and I know everything that will happen. This is coxarthrosis, which occurs in many former football players and people in general, — said Stoiță.

After the operation, the recovery period for Mircea Lucescu will last approximately one month, so he will be ready for the first matches of the preliminary tournament for the 2026 World Cup against Bosnia (March 21) and San Marino (March 24).
