Already this Thursday, January 30, Kyiv’s Dynamo will play the final match of the main stage of the Europa League — in Hamburg, against the Latvian RFSh.
The Riga club, like Dynamo, began preparations for the second part of the season in early January. However, in relation to Latvia, it would be more accurate to say that RFSh is preparing for the new season, as the national championship in this country is held in the spring-autumn system.
Before the recent match against Amsterdam’s Ajax (1:0) in the 7th round of the main stage of the Europa League, RFSh had only three friendlies: against Latvia’s Super Nova (7:0), against Estonia’s Kalju (1:2), and against Lithuania’s Zalgiris (1:0).
Additionally, yesterday in Tallinn there was a friendly match between the local Flora and RFSh (2:0), but in this encounter, only those players from the Riga team who did not play against Ajax participated.
No other friendlies are planned for RFSh before the match against Dynamo. However, the Kyiv team, as is known, will also be limited to training work before this match.
