Former Myrhorod forward Mykhailo Plokhotniuk explained why he left the Transcarpathian club.
Mykhailo Plokhotniuk“The arrangement was mutual. I was invited with the task to fight for promotion to the UPL. Players with larger contract terms left the team. When the club offered to terminate the cooperation, I agreed. Because I returned to Ukraine not to compete at this level.
Who is to blame for this situation? Definitely not the head coach. By the standards of the first league, 'Myrhorod' had a team that should have made it to the championship group. Unfortunately, the club's management did not fulfill its obligations in full.
I forgave this club a lot to leave. Everything that Zhelko stated publicly is true. It is difficult to set goals when the management is a catalyst for all problems. I signed a letter stating that I had no claims against the club in order to become a free agent and find a club in the winter,” said Plokhotniuk.
