The former forward of Kiev’s Dynamo Artem Besedin approved the strategy of his club’s management to focus on its own trainees.
«I have contact with some players of Dynamo and with the coaching staff of the team. Right now, the club has chosen a philosophy where young players, academy alumni play. This is a very difficult path that requires a lot of painstaking work. Of course, this will affect the team’s performance in European competitions.
But I believe this is the right approach. Mainly Ukrainians are playing, our guys. At the same time, in a recent match against Galatasaray in the Europa League, we saw that the team did not lose its composure and finished the match with dignity. I believe that with each match, the young guys will progress and gain experience.
Yes, the team is currently not performing as we would like, but time is needed. I am confident that Dynamo will be just fine in this regard», — said Besedin on the YouTube channel FootballHub.
