General Director of LNZ: “There has been no incident of that nature, as written in the media, with Momo”

The General Director of LNZ Andriy Koliskyk commented on the information that the team’s forward Francis Momo did not arrive for LNZ’s training camp in Spain and is refusing to play for the club due to the war in Ukraine.

“There has been no incident of that nature, as written in the media, with Francis Momo.

However, he still is not present at LNZ’s training camp in Marbella, Spain. The reason is the long processing of a Spanish visa for a citizen of Nigeria. We opened visas for all our legionnaires in advance and all of them started training with the team from day one, but there was a delay with Francis not due to our fault.

In the near future, the player is expected to join the team’s camp. During Francis Momo's time at LNZ, he has never mentioned that he doesn’t want to play in the UPL or that he would not return to Ukraine. He feels comfortable in Cherkasy and professionally fulfills his contractual obligations,” said Koliskyk.
