The UAF Ethics and Fair Play Committee commented on the three-year suspension from football activities of former referee Dmitry Kutakov, who is now a referee observer.
Dmitry Kutakov (photo: uaf.ua)“Last year, a Premier League referee, in accordance with the pre-provided instructions, informed the referees committee about an appeal from Kutakov D. O. regarding possible influence (manipulation) on the UPFL match result before the game. Based on this appeal, a service investigation was opened by the Ethics and Fair Play Committee.
During the investigation, surveys and studies were conducted, and materials were collected (including those confirming Kutakov D. O.'s attempts to influence (manipulate) the results),” the UAF Ethics and Fair Play Committee's statement says.
