According to Transfermarkt, it was the Canadian club that paid 4.8 million euros to Kharkiv. However, Montreal and Bologna have the same owner. Thus, the direct transfer to the Canadian club was likely made to avoid two transfers during one season.
It was previously reported that the Ukrainian footballer would have a personal contract under the scheme of 4+1.
