Former Shakhtar defender Valeriy Kryventsov made a prediction for today’s Champions League group stage match between Dortmund’s Borussia and the Donetsk team.

— If you were in the role of a player or coach in the Dortmund match, what would you do? Considering the importance of the result, is it worth taking risks?
— No, you can't rush forward immediately, exposing your flanks. You probably need to act monotonously. It should be taken into account that Borussia is a fast team that knows how to create counterattacks very well. So, you cannot give them space. The miners should start carefully, observing the opponent. And take advantage of their chances, which I hope will arise.
— Shakhtar played quite confidently against Brest, which was not observed last year in European matches. Do you think the positivity after the victory over the French club will carry over to the match with Borussia?
— I hope so. But at the same time, I want to emphasize that Brest played very weakly in that match. The French offered virtually nothing in attack. However, the miners did well to take advantage of that. But Borussia is a team of a completely different level.
