Bushchan spent his entire professional career at Kyiv’s Dynamo, starting from the youth academy. As part of Dynamo, he won the Ukrainian championship, two cups, and three Supercups of Ukraine, and played in the Champions League and the Europa League.

During the current season, he has played 27 matches for Dynamo across all tournaments, and overall in his career—181 matches.

Thanks to his successes and reliable play for the capital club, he was invited to the Ukrainian national team. He made his debut for the national team on October 7, 2020, in a friendly match against France. In total, he has played 18 matches for the blue-and-yellows and participated in the final tournaments of Euro 2020 (5 matches) and Euro 2024 (was on the roster, did not play).

“Thank you to Georgiy for the time spent at the club, his significant contribution to Dynamo’s victories, and his high level of professionalism. We wish him success in his future career, new achievements and accomplishments with his new team,” the Dynamo message states.
