The now former goalkeeper of Kyiv’s Dynamo, Georgiy Bushchan, who yesterday transferred to Saudi “Al-Shabab”, warmly said goodbye to Dynamo fans and his native club on his Instagram page.

“It is very hard to find the words to describe how I feel right now. My heart breaks at the thought of leaving my home. The team that has become my family. The fans who have become my friends.
I want you to know: I remember every day in the club, every person who was there and supported me in difficult moments. I would not have become the player you know without the help of my team, management, and fans. Only together did we become champions and experienced feelings of pride. Only together did we taste victories and experience the bitterness of defeats. I am not without you, and I will always be a part of you. Because we are family.
Almost 16 years flew by like 16 days. I remember my first day at the club as vividly as today… my last day. Together with you, it’s time for us to move on. I will walk with my head held high, knowing that I did everything for the diamond on my heart. I will walk, knowing that I have a worthy replacement who will uphold the standard that we set together. I believe in Dynamo and will always believe!
Just as I believe that many of my friend fans, heroes defending Ukraine, will return home with Ukraine’s victory. Although, unfortunately, I will not be able to say this to many of them already...
I love you. I love Kyiv. I love Dynamo.
Your Zhora Bushchan…”, — wrote Bushchan.
