Liverpool forward Federico Chiesa commented on his appearance in the starting lineup for the final round of the group stage of the Champions League match against PSV (2:3).
“Since moving to Liverpool, I wanted to prove myself. I couldn’t do that for many reasons, and it was great to play 90 minutes for the first time in a long time. I still have room to improve, to get better and better, to be the best version of myself.
We have a great team, and it’s tough to play here, but that’s normal. That’s why I want to be here, I want to play for Liverpool, I want to challenge myself. I will be ready for my next chance,” Chiesa said to the club's TV.
