The Madrid «Atletico» has intensified negotiations with London’s «Arsenal» for the transfer of the Ukrainian defender of this team, Alexander Zinchenko, and has made significant progress in them, reports Fichajes.net.
According to the source, the «mattress makers» are very close to signing the 28-year-old player. «Atletico» intends to complete the deal before the end of the winter transfer window.
However, the conditions of the upcoming transfer of the Ukrainian remain unknown. Earlier, it was reported that «Arsenal» was intending to receive 20 million euros for Zinchenko, while «Atletico» offered 15 million euros (with bonuses amounting to 5 million euros). There was also a media option in which the Madrid club would loan Zinchenko until the end of the current season with an obligation to buy his transfer rights.
