Defender of Donetsk "Shakhtar" Irakli Azarov stated that the club rejected several offers for his transfer from European clubs.
“In the summer, there were offers from 'Napoli,' 'Bologna,' and 'Celtic,' but 'Shakhtar' blocked all offers. I respect their decision,” Azarov was quoted by the Geo Team page on Twitter.
Recall that Azarov transferred to "Shakhtar" in the summer of 2023 from "Crvena Zvezda" for 3 million euros.
