There is less and less time left until the first official match of the youth team of Kyiv’s «Dynamo» this year. In just a week, in the UEFA Youth League, the «white-blues» will meet the Italian team «Atalanta».
We remind you that the team of Ihor Kostiuk is preparing for the game alongside the «first team» of the Kyiv club. And while the first team had three days off after the Europa League matches, the Dynamo youth are only preparing for their European Cup appearance.
On Tuesday, «Dynamo U-19» will hold their final friendly match before the game against «Atalanta». The day before the friendly, the «white-blues» had a busy training session. After the warm-up, the team worked on tactical elements, building, and finishing attacks. The outfield players then practiced shots on goal, taking turns being defended by the goalkeepers.
Along with the team, Vyacheslav Surkis, Vladislav Zakarchenko, Roman Salenko, and Matviy Ponomarenko are preparing for the UEFA Youth League game. All four were included in the first team's lineup in the match against RFS Hamburg, and Salenko and Ponomarenko took to the field, as they did in the previous Europa League match against «Galatasaray». We remind you that the game in Istanbul was a debut for both in European competitions at the adult level.
«Dynamo» will host «Atalanta» in Turkey, specifically in Manavgat, at the Arslan Zeki Demirci Spor Kompleksi pitch. This match will take place on February 11.
