The midfielder of Kyiv “Dynamo” Mykola Shaparenko has once again caught the attention of the Turkish “Trabzonspor,” reports Haber61.
According to the source, the club from Trabzon aims to acquire a player with playmaker qualities, and Shaparenko has become the priority option in this regard.
The management of “Trabzonspor” has already done work to assess both the current value of the 26-year-old midfielder and its financial capabilities, and will begin negotiations with “Dynamo” about Shaparenko's transfer in the coming days.
Recall that last summer it was also reported that the Dynamo player was interesting to “Trabzonspor,” and even that the Turkish club allegedly made an official transfer proposal to “Dynamo,” but the matter did not progress beyond that.
Moreover, in November of last year, the head coach of the Turkish “Trabzonspor,” Şenol Güneş personally scouted Shaparenko during the match between the national teams of Ukraine and Georgia (1:1) in the Nations League.
Additionally, the winter transfer window in Turkey will close in exactly one week, on February 11.
