Lecce director Pantaleo Corvino called the transfer of defender Patrick Dorgu to Manchester United historic.
“A few hours before the transfer window closed, we made a historic deal, one of the most beneficial in the club's history. It would have been unrealistic not to take a step that would allow us to gain resources for expanding the club's capabilities, including infrastructure. Our goal is to build the best Lecce,” Corvino is quoted by Calciolecce.
It is worth recalling that Manchester United paid 30 million euros for the Danish player and Lecce could receive an additional 8 million in bonuses.
