Croatian football agent Ivica Vrdoljak told the story of how the sporting director of Donetsk Shakhtar, Dario Srna, became interested in Polish midfielder Sebastian Shymansky, who currently plays for Turkish Fenerbahce and the national team of his country.
Sebastian Shymansky“One day I had an interesting situation with Sebastian Shymansky. At that time he was a player of Moscow Dynamo. I was at a friendly match of his team against Lechia from Gdansk and was watching this game in the company of Dario Srna. He became interested in Shymansky and started asking me about him. I praised Sebastian.
At some point, Srna inquired about his age. When I said he was 20 years old (Shymansky is now 25 years old — editor's note), Srna said that it was too much,” Vrdoljak quoted onet.pl.
It is worth adding that Shymansky has been called up to the Polish national team since he was 19 years old.
