Mudrik can be disqualified even with a negative result of test "B"

Ukrainian midfielder of London’s Chelsea Mykhailo Mudrik remains in a suspended state due to the doping scandal he has fallen into.

Recall that in December it became known that the "A" sample of the football player’s doping test, which he passed in November, showed a positive result. Since then, an analysis of his "B" sample has been conducted. If it also turns out positive, Mudrik will be disqualified for a period of two to four years.

However, as it turns out, the Ukrainian may be suspended from football even with a negative "B" test, reported well-known British journalist Ben Jacobs on his Twitter.

“A negative result in Mudrik’s "B" sample may lead to the cancellation of his temporary suspension and absence of punishment. However, in this situation, the Football Association of England could decide on Mudrik's disqualification solely based on the positive result of the "A" sample. But, likely, for a shorter duration,” wrote the journalist.
