On Monday, February 10, Kyiv’s «Dynamo» held another control match during the offseason training camp taking place in Turkey. This time, the opponent of Alexander Shovkovsky’s team was the Danish «Esbjerg».

The first half of this match was completely contentless in terms of how both teams played. The match was lacking pace and any sharpness. Mutual ball rotations led to nothing.
Nevertheless, in the middle of the first half, «Dynamo» managed to score. In the 25th minute of the match, Voloshyn made a cross into the penalty area of «Esbjerg» from the right flank, the Danish team's goalkeeper reacted, but deflected the ball directly to Vanat, who easily scored into essentially an empty net — 1:0.
Describing the events of the rest of the first half is as pointless as describing everything that happened before the goal. No sharpness, no events, no pace. This applies to both teams. So it is quite logical that the score did not change before the break.
The second half saw «Esbjerg» start very actively, and in the 58th minute, they nearly equalized — Lauson expertly struck a free kick, directing the ball over the wall into the top corner, but Neshcheret made a diving save to turn the game into a corner.
Subsequently, the Danish team continued to have positional advantage; however, it was «Dynamo» that scored: in the 68th minute, Bragaru, receiving the ball in the left part of the penalty area, moved into the central zone and struck from about 11 meters, sending the ball precisely into the top corner — 2:0.
In the remaining part of the match, there was an equal contest on the field, with «Esbjerg» having the ball a bit more often, but no scoring chances arose in this segment of the match. The only noteworthy moment was a long-range shot at «Dynamo»'s goal, which the substitute Ignatenko dealt with in a diving save. In the end — 2:0, a victory for Alexander Shovkovsky’s team.
