The winter training camp of Kyiv “Dynamo”, which Alexander Shovkovskiy’s team is holding in Turkey, is nearing its end.

On Wednesday, February 12, the “white-blues” held one training session on the football field. It began traditionally with a short run and warm-up.
After that, there was work on passing, which the players performed while moving in a designated direction between training cones and poles. Next, the team worked on ball control in squares, where players were divided into three groups wearing different colored vests.
A significant part of the training session was devoted to modeling game situations, during which the team practiced tactical formations. In the final part, midfielders and forwards improved their finishing of attacks, while defenders worked separately under the guidance of Serhiy Fedorov.
It should be noted that the team finally practiced almost with the full squad — all players returned to the main group except for Valentyn Morgun — instead, youth team goalkeeper Artem Syomka worked with the first team. Young players who played in the UEFA Youth League match the day before did not participate in the training session.
The final stage of the Turkish training camp will last until the end of the week. On Sunday, February 16, the “white-blues” will play two friendly matches — against their recent European Cup opponent, Latvian RFS, as well as against Moldovan “Petrocub”, after which they will return to Ukraine, where they will continue to prepare for the first match of this year’s Ukrainian Championship against “Karpaty”. By the way, the “green-whites” played a friendly match against Zhytomyr’s “Polissya” (0:3) in Belek on Wednesday.
