On Sunday, February 16, Kyiv's «Dynamo» played their final friendly match during the mid-season training camp held in Turkey. This time, the opponent for Alexander Shovkovsky's team was the football club «Petrokub».

The match began with attacks from «Petrokub», but they did not pose a real threat — all crosses and passes into the penalty area were controlled by the defenders of the «white-blues». After about ten minutes, Shovkovsky's team managed to take the initiative, and the opponent was forced to defend almost entirely on their half of the field.
However, there were honestly no real chances to score against «Petrokub» for the Dynamo players. Brazhko and Bulyalsky constantly tried to find Guerrero with sharp passes into the opponent's penalty area, but the forward lacked either decisiveness or accuracy during the finishing shot. Only once did the Panamanian striker win an aerial duel against his opponent and head the ball, but it flew far from the goal.
As the first half neared its conclusion, the players of «Petrokub» began playing too roughly, receiving two warnings just before the whistle for halftime.
The second half of the match was also marked by a large number of fouls, to which the main referee continued to respond with yellow cards. For «Dynamo», Brazhko received a yellow card in his account.
In the 66th minute, a midfielder from «Petrokub» could have opened the scoring, but his shot from the edge of the penalty area was blocked by Dynamo defender Bilovar. This moment caused the «white-blues» to activate their offensive efforts, as one scored goal could determine the outcome of such a “closed” game. And it was Bulyalsky who managed to score! In the 75th minute, Shaparenko brilliantly broke down the left flank of the opponent and passed into the center of the penalty area to the Dynamo captain, who shot from a few meters into the top corner of the «Petrokub» goal — 1:0!
In the remaining time, both teams exchanged several more attacks, but the final score remained the same — a minimal victory for our club, which concluded its training camp in Turkey.
Let us remind you that «Dynamo» will play its next match as part of the Ukrainian championship. Next Sunday, February 23, Alexander Shovkovsky's team will meet with «Karpaty» in Kyiv. The match begins at 18:00.
