Officially. The match between «Kryvbas» and «Veres» has been moved to Rivne due to the unprepared field in Kryvyi Rih

Kryvyi Rih’s «Kryvbas» announced that the home match of the club against «Veres» in the 18th round of the Ukrainian championship, scheduled for next Saturday, February 22, will take place in Rivne at the «Avangard» stadium due to the unpreparedness of the «Hirnyk» stadium field in Kryvyi Rih.

«The club's agronomists did everything possible for the proper preparation of the "Hirnyk" stadium field for the match against "Veres," but the weather conditions and freezing temperatures in the region, which will reach -10 and below throughout the week, hinder the preparation of the lawn for the game.

In this regard, the decision was made to hold the match at the reserve stadium. However, since our reserve stadium for the 2024/25 season is the stadium in Kovalivka, where "Koloss" will play its home match this weekend, holding the 18th round game at this arena is impossible.

Considering that "Kryvbas" was the initiator of the cancellation of championship match transfers, we are doing everything possible to ensure the game takes place within the scheduled time. Therefore, according to the Regulations of the competitions, which stipulates that in case of the impossibility of holding the match at the reserve stadium, the game can be held at another arena agreed upon by all parties, our club has approached and received consent from FC "Veres" and the relevant authorities to hold the match at the "Avangard" stadium in Rivne," the statement of «Kryvbas» says.
