“The procedure is conducted in the same laboratory as the analysis of sample 'A', adhering to all requirements for transparency and independence. As a rule, the analysis of sample 'B' takes from a few days to several weeks. The results of the analysis of sample 'B' are confidential during the consideration of the case and can only be made public after all procedures are completed.

If sample 'B' confirms the results of sample 'A', based on which sanctions will be imposed on the athlete, then the results of sample 'B' may not be publicly disclosed. Only the laboratory, the anti-doping organization, and the athlete/his representatives will know about them.

This is stipulated in the anti-doping procedures, and it does not depend on the lawyers. Only the final decision of the anti-doping organization is required to be public,” said the head of the anti-doping center.
