– You left Shakhtar, but there was an interesting situation there. What is the development? Where is the case now? Is it in court?

– Actually, I can say that the internet has made a loud case out of this because, in general, these are normal things in football when you have, let's say, not entirely normal communication with the management.

Then it happened that I needed to change clubs, but in such an unpleasant way. I love Shakhtar with all my heart and wish them all the best, but now the case is in court, and I think that in about a couple of months something will be known. We will know something, some news.

– In the Ukrainian court, I understand, Shakhtar has financial claims against you regarding compensation for leaving the club without permission, am I right to understand?

– No, the case is already in CAS (the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Switzerland, - ed.), I understand.

– In Lausanne, right?

– I don’t know anything at all about how it works there; my lawyers are handling it, and I think everything will be fine.

– Have representatives of the club contacted you to sign any agreement before the review in Lausanne?

– No, they did not contact me. Shakhtar did not reach out to me.
