Officially. Players of "Zarya," rented from "Dynamo," will not play against their main team this season

Players of Luhansk "Zarya," rented from Kyiv "Dynamo," will not play against their main team in this Ukrainian championship. This was stated by the general director of "Zarya," Igor Guz.

“Players rented from ‘Dynamo’ will not play against their main team in this championship. This is a question that fans ask every time: why don’t they play? It's a decision by ‘Dynamo’, we cannot influence it in any way.

We have had examples when players rented from other clubs played, and thanks to their actions, we won matches. And then the teams that gave us those players suffered in the tournament.

We had an example where they allowed Malyshev to play against ‘Shakhtar’—he scored, and we won 1:0. ‘Dynamo’ allowed Brazhko to play, he came on as a sub for us for the first time and scored a goal, and we won against ‘Dynamo’ while being a man down. Therefore, clubs that lend out their players don’t really want their protégés to play against them,” Guz’s words are quoted by “Tribuna”.

Recall that currently, there are six rented players from ‘Dynamo’ at ‘Zarya’: Vikentiy Voloshyn, Vladislav Supryaga, Igor Gorbach, Artem Slesar, Alexander Yatsyk, and Andrey Matkevich.

In the first half of the season, Luhansk also had Dynamo players Oleksiy Husev and Benito, but the first transferred (also on loan) to Kharkiv’s "Metalist 1925", while 'Zarya' refused the services of the second (due to disciplinary issues). There were rumors that Voloshyn would also return early to ‘Dynamo’, but they have not found confirmation yet.
