The number of legionnaires in the UPL has crossed the 100 mark for the first time in 11 years

After the winter break, 22 players made their debut in the 18th round of the Ukrainian championship, including 13 legionnaires.

This includes Stefan-Marinel Vladu, Arinaldo Rrapai (both - "Koloss"), Giorgi Robakidze, Ryan (both - "Chornomorets"), Gleiker Mendoza ("Kryvbas"), Tomer Yosefi, Facundo Batista, Andre Gonsalves (all - "Polissya"), Milot Avdili ("Vorskla"), Teddy Tsara ("Oleksandriya"), Dejan Popara ("Zorya"), Patricio Tanda ("Karpaty") and Kawan Elias ("Shakhtar").

And for the first time in 11 years, the total number of legionnaires in the UPL has reached 100 players. Currently, in the 2024/2025 season, 435 players have been involved, including 105 legionnaires (24.13%). Both figures may still increase by the end of the season.
