In the 2024/25 European Cup season, UEFA again awarded Russia, expelled from all international tournaments for its attack on Ukraine, points in the UEFA coefficient table.

Without participating in European club competitions, the aggressor country received 4.333 points. As a result, at the start of the 2025/26 European Cup season, Russia will be positioned 26th in the current UEFA coefficient table, while Ukraine, which earned 3.600 points in the 2024/25 season, will start the next season in 27th place.

It should be noted that this coefficient table will determine the representation of countries in the European Cups for the 2027/28 season, and to reiterate, this refers to the state of the UEFA coefficient table at the beginning of the next European Cup season — that is, before clubs start accumulating points and changing their country's position in the table.
