«We are looking at stadiums that are not far from the borders with Ukraine», — deputy CEO of “Dynamo” on the European Cups 2025/

The deputy general director of Kyiv “Dynamo”, Maksym Radutskyi, participated in yesterday’s press conference, dedicated to summarizing the first half of the season and plans for the near future.

Maksym Radutskyi

— FC “Dynamo” Kyiv is becoming more media-oriented, much more open to fans. How difficult are these changes for the club? What has been achieved this season?

— It’s not hard for us, but for the guys and girls who are defending us. A big thank you and a bow to them! Given that it is now much harder to do something offline, i.e., on the ground, this year, as part of the unofficial preparation for the club’s centenary, we launched a number of marketing projects. And a big thank you for the synergy to our partners, and it is very comfortable to actually work with GG Bet. Everything we do and will do, you will see with your own eyes.

I would like the 100th anniversary of FC “Dynamo” Kyiv not to have a war in our country, and in terms of preparation, we are aiming for the experience and scale of the organization of the Euro 2012 final. I think everyone remembers what happened in Kyiv then, and we approach this in the same way.

— Do you follow media football? Is “Dynamo” planning to create its media team in the future?

— We not only follow but also are direct participants in Ukrainian football, contributing both financially and organizationally. All charity matches are held under the Dynamo flags, so to speak, and we support any initiative aimed at helping the military or those in need. We also have clubs we are friends with — for example, Ignis. Nothing unites us, but we follow their performances.

— This year marks the 50th anniversary of winning the first European trophy. Are there any events planned for this date?

— While the war continues, we will have no events — no celebrations, concerts — at all. There will be activities on social networks, maybe we will gather our veterans. We will communicate in a “home” format; we are in touch with all veterans. I can also say that no request received by the club management from veterans has been ignored, and all have been fulfilled. For example, I won’t disclose medical secrets, but there was a need for medication for Volodymyr Fedorovych Muntyan. It was needed urgently, it was quite expensive, but in less than a day it was delivered, it seems from Austria.

— A question regarding logistics. Are there any options for where “Dynamo” will host matches in the European Cups next season?

— We are already discussing next season informally. We listened to all the wishes from the head coach, the team, and logistics will be the priority here. Unfortunately, there are not many stadiums that meet the criteria for the arenas that can host Champions League or Europa League matches. If we consider Hamburg, Vienna, or Barcelona, then it really doesn’t matter. Because to get there, there are still several modes of transport — bus, train, plane, again bus, and only then the stadium. Therefore, right now we are looking at stadiums that are not far from the borders with Ukraine. We will select three to four options and submit them for approval to the head coach and the team.
