The head coach of Kolos from Kovalyvka, Oleksandr Pozdiev, who confirmed that he was informed about his dismissal yesterday, spoke about his recent conflict with the midfielder of Rivne’s Veres, Ihor Kharatin.
— What were your relationships like with the players? At the beginning of the season, there was information in the press that Kharatin staged a rebellion against you.
— After that turbulence, everything went back to normal. We had normal relationships with the players.
— So what happened with Kharatin? Was there really a rebellion?
— I don’t know, maybe agents did something... “Kolos” is a “hot spot” for agents. Everyone wants to get in here and be involved. When the results aren’t what one would wish for, agents start to rock the boat and offer someone. This is a normal process in football circles. And the coach is such a profession that if something is going wrong, there will be many people who know how to do it better.
— Were players imposed on you to put them in?
— There was nothing like that in terms of who to take and who to put in.
— I just want to understand the reason for the conflict with Kharatin.
— You’d better ask him. Kharatin had his own opinions. This story has long since died. There were small misunderstandings that are no longer relevant.
— What did you say to him when he scored against Kolos for Veres? It seemed that a conflict arose between you on the field.
— Nothing like that happened, no one provoked or insulted anyone, we just communicated.
— Will you shake hands with Kharatin when you meet?
— I have a normal attitude towards all people. Of course, I will shake hands. I have no problems.
