UAF President Andriy Shevchenko arrived in Romania to participate in a coaching seminar on women’s football and gave a brief comment to the local press.
“I think it would be great if Ukraine and Romania met at the 2026 World Cup. The last time I came to Romania was in 2021. I have always had pleasant moments here and I have always been very supported here. This is a fantastic place. I hope Romania qualifies for the World Cup because it deserves it,” as.ro reports his words.
Let us remind you that the national teams of Ukraine and Romania were in the same group at Euro 2024. The match between the teams ended in a significant victory for the Romanian national team with a score of 3:0.
