— In the morning after the defeat to "Oleksandriya" and the information about the dismissal of Pozdiev\'s staff, I called the vice-president of "Koloss" to ask what was happening. He was at that moment in contact with the club president Andrii Zasukha and combined these calls. Andrii Anatoliyovych said: “It needs to be done by tomorrow!”. I replied: “Understood!”. — Who will work in your staff?
— Besides Oleg Shelayev, Vyacheslav Kernosenko remains, who performed the role of goalkeeper coach excellently. We will see as we go along.
— Compared to your previous period, there are very few players left in the team. Do you need time to get acquainted with the team?
— Time is needed to get to know the team, but I know all these players. First of all, they are all of very good quality, all were leaders in their previous teams. This is a very good squad collected here. I do not yet know why it is not possible to build a strong team. We need to figure it out.
— You were introduced as the acting head coach. What needs to happen for this "acting" prefix to disappear?
— I wasn’t surprised by this at all. I was introduced to the team as “your head coach.” How it is recorded doesn’t concern me. The main thing is for the team to reach a higher level and rise in the standings. Life will show further.
— What is the primary task facing your coaching staff?
— You will see how the team is positioned. It is clear that it should not be there, given the presence of such players and the attitude of the club leadership and, in particular, the president. All conditions are in place. If I previously said that the team was outpacing the club in terms of results, now it is the other way around.
