UAF President Andrei Shevchenko, who arrived in Romania to participate in a coaching seminar on women’s football, shared his opinion about the coach of the Romanian national team, former head coach of Kyiv’s “Dynamo” Mircea Lucescu at the request of the local press.
“I have great respect for Lucescu. He is highly respected in Ukraine, not just in Romania, and he is an important figure. He was successful both at Kyiv's 'Dynamo' and at Donetsk's 'Shakhtar'. I have only good memories of Lucescu. I know that he has energy, and he is still coaching. He is a huge enthusiast when it comes to football. It’s fantastic that he has so much energy,” — Shevchenko's words are quoted by “iAM Sport”.
