Mykola Pavlov: "Referees take bribes from one club, and from another, and risk nothing"

Famous Ukrainian coach Mykola Pavlov spoke about bribes in Ukrainian football.

Mykola Pavlov

— Referees take bribes from one club, and from another, and risk nothing. They make decisions that benefit them. Sometimes I communicate with Hryhoriy Surkis, he says: "Look, nobody is killing 'Shakhtar' and 'Dynamo'." I reply: "Yes, you are wealthy clubs that have influence. No one can kill you. The referees have shifted to us, to the small clubs."

Previously, referees took money and killed, but now there are no such bandits. When I left 'Illichivets' because of the referee scandal, I got calls saying I should apologize. There was a call from the federation. I was tired of being mocked. I was ready to pay a fine and planned to take a break, — noted Pavlov in an interview with the YouTube channel "Football House".

В стране, где все построено на взятках, футбол быть честным не может.
