Minority owner of Manchester United Sir Jim Ratcliffe criticized the former owners’ decision to hire David Moyes to replace Alex Ferguson.
"I like David Moyes, and I think he’s a really good manager. However, I wouldn't have gone for Moyes to replace Sir Alex Ferguson. Ferguson won the Premier League 13 times and the Champions League twice, and then you hand the team over to a guy who has never managed big players and has never won anything," Ratcliffe is quoted by The Times.
Recall that Moyes headed the "Red Devils" from 2013 to 2014, winning the FA Community Shield during that time.
