Yevgeny Seleznev: “Rotan is currently the best coach in Ukraine”
Former Ukraine national team forward Yevgeny Seleznev highly praised the potential of the head coach of “Alexandria,” Ruslan Rotan, whose team, we recall, is in second place after 21 rounds of the current Ukrainian championship, trailing the leader “Dynamo” by just four points.
“I look at what Rotan has done in ‘Alexandria,’ and I believe that, at the moment, he is probably the strongest coach in Ukraine. The football that ‘Alexandria’ is demonstrating has a bright future. What Rotan has built with a relatively small budget is fantastic. For me, he is a very good coach, and moreover, a friend.
Fight for the championship? ‘Alexandria’ will fight, but let’s be objective, it will be very difficult for them to win this battle. ‘Alexandria’ has already played both matches with ‘Dynamo’ and both matches with ‘Shakhtar.’ But there is definitely a chance, and I wish Rotan and his team to take advantage of that chance,” Seleznev said on the YouTube channel “Football 360.”
