In December, Zhytomyr’s “Polesie” sought to rent goalkeeper Ruslan Neshcheret from Kyiv’s “Dynamo,” reports the Telegram channel “INSIDE UPL.”
The goal of such a transfer was to strengthen the competition for the goalkeeper position in “Polesie” due to the stable performance of the team’s main goalkeeper, Yevhen Volynets. The Zhytomyr club was even ready to terminate the contract with their secondary goalkeeper Oleg Kudryk to create real competition.
However, according to the source, “Dynamo” rejected the request, as it was already clear that Heorhiy Bushchan might leave the team, and there were practically no alternatives for this position for the Kyivans.
