Ukrainian team of referees appointed to the 2026 World Cup qualifying match

The Ukrainian team of referees has been appointed for the World Cup 2026 qualifying match between the national teams of Liechtenstein and North Macedonia.

According to the official UEFA website, the main referee of the match will be Mykola Balakin. The assistant referees appointed are: Viktor Matyash and Oleksandr Berkut. The fourth official will be Denys Shurman.

The VAR system will also be in operation for the match. The main VAR referee: Viktor Kopyevskyi. Assistant main VAR referee: Oleksii Derevinskyi.

Additionally, the match Liechtenstein — North Macedonia will take place on March 22 in Vaduz.
