The French national team, having defeated the Croatian national team in the Nations League quarter-finals (0:2, 2:0, on penalties — 5:4), became the last opponent of the Ukrainian national team in Group "D" of the qualifying cycle for the 2026 World Cup, the draw for which took place back in December.
