Argentina national team midfielder Leandro Paredes warned Brazil national team forward Rafinha against loud words that do not correspond to his team's actions. Ahead of the qualifying match against Argentina, Rafinha appeared on a podcast with legendary Brazil player Romário and promised to "smash" the Argentina national team.
"There’s no need to talk about it in advance, you shouldn't say such things if you can't prove them on the field. This was sent to our general group, and we discussed it. Every time something like this happens, we stand up for ourselves, and we did it again," Paredes told Goal.
